Avital Oliver’s emulator is an interesting tool for all developers interested in Google Wave Gadgets but especially for those who have not got the access to the Sandbox, yet.
Avital uses a different approach than Vidar Hokstad so if you are interested in these emulators, check both of them.
Useful for: Developers
Vidar’s emulator is an interesting tool for all developers interested in Google Wave Gadgets but especially for those who have not got the access to the Sandbox, yet.
Note: The emulator was tested only in Firefox at this moment.
Scott Wilson mapped the Google Wave API calls to his existing APIs and web services so anybody (and especially those who don’t have access to the Google Wave Sandbox) can play with Google Wave functionality!
If you are a developer working with Google Wave API, JDebuggy might be very helpful for you – it will enable you to debug your robots in local dev environment even if you are in a subnet behind a router.
Besides being able to add breakpoints, to inspect variables, etc. you can
test your robot without uploading it to app engine.
This Google Wave gadget integrates the OpenSocial Templates and shows how the state and participants can easily be shown in the template by hooking them up to the state changed event.
