<p><span id="more-60"></span></p>
<h3>How to play?</h3>
<p>For example this way &#8211; go the Scott&#8217;s article about <a href="http://zope.cetis.ac.uk/members/scott/blogview?entry=20090601115357" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/zope.cetis.ac.uk/members/scott/blogview?entry=20090601115357&amp;referer=');">Google Wave Widgets</a>, open it in two different windows, find the section with &#8220;fridge magnet poetry&#8221; that looks like this:</p>
<p><img src="http://67.23.11.80/~wavety/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/poetry-demo1.gif" alt="poetry-demo1" title="poetry-demo1" width="329" height="330" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-72" /></p>
<p>and start to move the words. You will see that the words are moving also in the second window.</p>
<p>Not impressed by this?<br />
Ya, this is not the coolest example ever. But if you are a developer and you understand the idea behind the Google Wave, then you know that this might be a nice toy.</p>
<h3>How to play really?</h3>
<p>Find the last section in <a href="http://zope.cetis.ac.uk/members/scott/blogview?entry=20090601115357" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/zope.cetis.ac.uk/members/scott/blogview?entry=20090601115357&amp;referer=');">the Scott&#8217;s article</a> where he explains what you should install to create your own &#8220;Sandbox&#8221;.</p>

<div class="alert">If you are a developer working with Google Wave API, JDebuggy might be very helpful for you &#8211; it will enable you to <strong>debug your robots in local dev environment</strong> even if you are in a subnet behind a router.</p>
<p>Besides being able to add breakpoints, to inspect variables, etc. <strong>you can<br />
test your robot without uploading it to app engine</strong>.</div>
<p><span id="more-31"></span></p>
<p>JDebuggy was created by <a href="http://groups.google.com/group/google-wave-api/browse_thread/thread/e5893ca8ecb62b8c" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/groups.google.com/group/google-wave-api/browse_thread/thread/e5893ca8ecb62b8c?referer=');">Daniel Floray</a>.</p>
<p>Author tested JDebuggy with Eclipse but it should work with any other IDE.</p>
<h3>How to use JDebuggy</h3>
<p>- Download the attached <a href="http://groups.google.com/group/google-wave-api/web/wave-debugger.jar" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/groups.google.com/group/google-wave-api/web/wave-debugger.jar?referer=');">wave-debugger.jar</a> file</p>
<p>- Start the jar by typing java -jar wave-debugger.jar robotname<br />
(Replace robotname with a unique name of your robot.)</p>
<p>- Start your robot locally in debug mode. In Eclipse simply right-<br />
click on your robot project and select &#8220;Debug As&#8230; Web Application&#8221;.<br />
Right now JDebuggy assumes that your server will listen on port 8080.</p>
<p>- Create a new wave and add JDebuggy as participant<br />
(jdebuggy@appspot.com)</p>
<p>- Create a new blip and type Debug: robotname (Use exactly the same<br />
name you&#8217;ve chosen when starting the wave-debugger)</p>
<h3>Who can use it</h3>
<p>To use JDebuggy you need the access to the Google Wave enviroment.</p>
