Alright all. This whole Google Wave thing is new. So there's obviously hundreds of bugs. Almost none of my Robots are working, and none have icons. But I'm sure, soon, they'll fix it.

i want robot Tweety

my friend and i included tweety in our wave window to check it out. we were both asked to authenticate and it was all good. suddenly it was tweeting everything we typed in (even if we didnt type it on the "what are you doing window") and to top it all, twitter was posting everything we typed under my friend's nickname.. what happened?

i got tweety installed. it updated...all the tweets say from the bot, tho. so i don't know who actually tweeted what. even so....i'm gonna love wave when things are more up and running. the video sharing is awesome, for example.

guys that is Tweety robot api problem. i think we have to wait for some time!

Do I need to own a sandbox account to make this tweety robot work on wave?

I was having the same problem with the avatars. A simple clear cache and cookies and restart browser fixed it.

My problem is I can't move this wave to the trash as I can with other waves. And also as others report, It's not updating from my twitter timeline anymore.

drew: the idea of releasing betas and even alphas is to gather feedback to improve. I'm not a programmer and I don't think anyone here "whining" about the functionality of these products is either, or they would have already gone and fixed it as you suggest.

Why don't you show us where to file bugs so that they can get fixed (which in essence is the same as whining, just called different and directed to a place where they may get taken care of).

How can i install this extension?

Def need to swtch the order the tweets show up and needs to refresh. Just added tweety and been testing - Can't figure out how to see who is sending the tweets there, mine just shows "Tweety the Twitbot" where the tweeps name should be. Anyone?
Looks to have great potential to me once Wave develops further.

Same happens here. I can see the tweets in the wave but just a few avatars, the rest is just represented with the Tweety avatar so I cannot see who is writing the tweets.. any ideas?

It's a *beta* product. Actually I would almost say alpha-level.

Stop whinging about issues on Wavety, go and file bugs/issues against the robot in the Google Code repository, or have a look at the code and try and fix it yourself.

Someone added this robot to ContentWave's Interesting Waves. It doesn't work, and completely obliterated the content of the initial blip. This is a poor excuse for a service.

Same as above: no icons, no updated tweets, and no twit search/filter as shown by the guys in the google wave demo! HELP! :-) Thanks.

I'm using the invitation preview edition, and the tweety robot is not loading the thumbnail, and gives me a broken image indicator and says the following with no indication of how to login (no form fields)

You have to log in to use this service.
Please make sure you are not blocking the login popup. :-)

How do we add one of these extensions.. Hard luck.. I dont have a Sandbox account..

It seems to me that the robots work really well in wavesandbox.com but hardly work at all (if at all) on the actual googlewave.com site.

In other words: It really sucks to be us losers who aren't in the Developer Preview sandbox.

I managed to add Tweety to my contacts, but when I add it to a Wave, it pops up a very large warning that says I have blocked the login popup -- which I can't see because it's hidden (I guess) behind the warning -- which I can't get rid of.

Using Firefox on a Mac. Is this not compatible?

Same here. The idea is really really good... but it doesn´t work correctly. I can´t see the new tweets of my friends...

... and it assigns many of the tweets posted by other people to itself!
So far, so rubbish!

It doesn't seem to work for me. It hasn't loaded all tweets into the wave and it won't post any updates from me to twitter. Running in Chrome.

Never mind, I seem to have figured it out :).

I'm sorry to make my self look like an idiot - but can anyone tell me how to actually add this to my wave account? I do not have a sandbox account btw, but a regular one.

Running Firefox 3.5.3, without Adblock Plus installed. Trying to authenticate Tweety with Twitter, but it keep giving me popups in which I sign in to Twitter and click "Allow". The popup then says that authentication was successful, and closes. Then nothing happens. If I then click away and click back to that Tweety Wave, it repeats the process. Now it's saying that I've overused the app token. What?

Same problem in here. tweets are not updated since instantiation!

When twittering using Tweety the tweets are wrote back from Twitter. That means that I have my own written tweets twice in the Wave.
In addition the name of who twittered is often not displayed in the beginning.
And last thing: Something it shows several people (also several times) in one blimp.

One print screen + Zero explanation = Fail

Same here. It just updates once you add it. And since we can't delete waves yet, at least properly from the Trash folder, I don't want to create a new wave every time I want to see updates.

I added tweety to a wave, and after authentication with twitter my post were updated, but only one time. So I don't see newer posts in the wave. I'm using Firefox 3.0.13, any ideas?

Sending tweets is fine.

Is it possible to sort the tweets by date. i mean having the last tweet on top?
